The ingredients needed to make Beef Pilau:
Prepare 2.5 cups Basmati rice
Take 1.5 tbsp ground garlic
Make ready 1 tbsp ground ginger
Prepare 2 large ripe tomatoes- grated
Prepare 1 large green bell pepper- grated
Get 1 bunch coriander- chopped
Take 2 large onions- chopper in half rings
Take 1 tbsp cinnamon
Make ready 2 tbsp pilau masala
Get 2 tbsp cummin
Get Salt to taste
Get Hot water to boil rice
Get Cooking oil
Instructions to make Beef Pilau:
Wash, chop and boil the meet until it's evenly cooked and soft. Keep the stock.
Chop and fry the onions until translucent. Remove half a cup of the onions and set aside. Add in the meat and stir. Add in the ground garlic and ginger and cook for about 1 minutes.
Add in the grated tomatoes and green bell pepper. Also include the spices and let it simmer with a bit of beef stock for about 10 minutes until the stew is thick and the oil floats at the top. Add in the rice and water, let it boil until it's dry.
Once it is cooked, add in the coriander and onions set aside at step 2. With a fork, gently incorporate it into the pilau
Serve with your desired accompaniment and enjoy!
