  1. Prepare 2.5 cups Long grain rice
  2. Take 500 g beef
  3. Make ready 3 large onions - diced
  4. Take 3 table spoons cooking oil
  5. Get 1.5 table spoon pilau masala
  6. Make ready 2 table spoons ginger garlic paste
  7. Get 5 cups water - boiled
  8. Prepare 1 table spoon salt
Instructions to make Beef Pilau:
  1. Put beef in a sufuria, add a bit of salt and cover with lid. Cook until all water is dried up and a bit browned.
  2. In a sufuria, add your oil and onions, cook until the onions are well browned.
  3. Add the ginger garlic paste and stir for around 2 mins.
  4. Add the pilau masala and salt and let cook for 1 minute.
  5. Add your meat and stir well.
  6. Add water and let it boil for like 2 minutes.
  7. Add your rice and cover. Cooks for around 30 minutes. As the rice approaches drying up, reduce the heat.
  8. Serve with Kachumbari or a salad of your choice.
