Get 1/2 chicken
Make ready 1 & 1/4 cups rice soaked

In a sauce pan, add oil over medium heat, then add sliced onions, stir until cooked, just turned translucent.
Add the ginger garlic paste and cook until the raw smell is eliminated. Add the spices- cummin powder, pilau spice, and cummin seeds. Stir well to incorporate.
Add the chicken, and stir to ensure it's well coated in the spices.
Add some salt, stir then add the water and let it come to a boil.
Once it boils, add rice, stir then let it cook until all the liquid is eliminated.
Reduce the heat to low, cover completely and let it slow cook until completely dry or you can pop it in the oven preheated to 180°C for 10 minutes.
