  3. Add seeds, cloves, cinnamon and bay leaf to pan and fry for 2 minutes to release flavours.
  4. Add turmeric and salt, stiring for 1 minute.
  5. Add rice and coat in butter and spices. Keep over heat stiring for 1 minute.
  6. Add stock, stiring briefly and turning heat down to low. Tightly cover leaving alone for 15 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat, uncover and fork through to fluff up.
  8. Serve with your favourite curry.
  9. Pick out cardomom pods and cinnamon whilst eating.
