Prepare 3 tbsp gram flour

Take 1 green chilli (chopped)
Get 1/4 tsp asafoetida

Instructions to make Besan ki kadhi (chutney for fafda, khaman):
In big bowl take 3 tbsp gram flour. Add 2 tbsp sugar, salt, 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and add water 5 times that of gram flour.
Mix all ingredients well. Make sure no lumps are left.
Mixture should be of thin consistency such that it does not stick churner. And no lumps are present.
Now in a pan add 1 tbsp oil, 1/4 mustard seeds and 8 to 10 Curry leaves. Then add one chopped green chili and add 1/4 tsp asafoetida. Mix it. And saute for approximately half minute.
Again stir mixture of gram flour into uniform consistency.
Now add mixture in pan. Turn to law flame before adding this mixture.
Stir the mixture continuously so that gram flour does not stick to bottom of pan.
Turn the medium flame after stirring for one minute.
And now stir occasionally.
Add 1/2 tsp lemon juice after cooking on medium flame for 2 minutes.
Now check if we have got required consistency.
If we have required consistency then off the gas flame.
Serve.
