  1. Prepare 1 cup chickpea / chole, soaked overnight
  2. Take 4 tbsp oil
  3. Prepare 1 bay leaf
  4. Make ready 1 inch cinnamon stick

  6. Prepare 1 onion, finely chopped
  7. Take 1 onion

  9. Prepare 1/2 tsp ginger garlic paste

  11. Take 2 tomatoes, finely chopped
  12. Get 1 tbsp kashmiri chilli powder
  13. Make ready 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  14. Prepare ½ tsp turmeric powder
  15. Prepare 1 tsp coriander powder
  16. Take 3/4 tsp aamchur powder
  17. Prepare to taste salt
  18. Get ½ tsp chola masala
  19. Make ready 2 cups water
  20. Make ready 2 tsp coriander leaves, finely choppe

Instructions to make Chole bhature:
  1. Soaked chickpea overnight in water.pressure cook for 7-8 whistles on medium flame.,add tea bag in chickpeas for black colour. Now take a mixer jar add onion and ginger garlic and green chilli and make a paste.Than again take a mixer jar add 2 tomatoes and make a paste.
  2. Firstly, in a pan heat oil. - - furthermore, saute bay leaf, cinnamon stick and cumin seeds,cloves, big black cardamom till they turn aromatic. - add onion and ginger-garlic paste. saute till it turns golden brown.
  3. Now add all masala and saute for few seconds than add tomatoes paste and saute till they start releasing oil.
  4. Then add soaked chickpea. make sure to soak chickpea overnight. - - followed by 2 cups of water. - - further, give a good mix. and check the seasonings.
  5. Mix well and garnish coriander leaves. - - finally, serve with bhatura.
