  6. Get 1 tsp Black pepper

  11. Make ready 1 tsp All spice's powder
  12. Make ready 1 cup yoghurt
  13. Get 1 cup Oil
  14. Make ready 4-5 cups water
  15. Get Ginger,Green chillies, coriander Leaf for garnishing
Instructions to make Cholay Salan:
  1. Wash soaked chickpeas thrice.
  2. In a pot add chickpeas,onion sliced,tomatoes Sliced, ginger garlic paste and all the spices except salt and All spice's powder.
  3. Add water about 4 to 5 cups Cook high flame. when it become boil.
  4. Turn the flame very low and cover it and let it cook for 1 or 1½ hrs or until the chickpeas done (if you r using pressure cooker it will take just half an hour or less)
  5. When chickpeas are done add oil, yoghurt and gram masla powder mix and bhoonofy it on high flame until oil separate.
  6. Add 1 glass of water and bring it to boil. check the gravy you want and turn the stove off.
  7. Garnish with green chilies and fresh coriander - Serve with boiled rice or roti….
