The ingredients needed to make Basil fried rice:
  1. Get Dried rice
  2. Take Basil (if no basil then this can be normal fried recipe)
  3. Get Soy sauce and vinegar
  4. Make ready Green chillies or jalapenos
  5. Make ready Sesame oil or sesame seeds
  6. Get Ginger garlic onions
  7. Take Spring onions
  8. Get Veggies- mushroom carrots capsicum broccoli, etc
Instructions to make Basil fried rice:
  1. Prepare rice in advance.
  2. Preferably use a flat pan so that you can sear the rice later on.
  3. Sesame oil (or oil and sesame seeds), red chillies (ideally Chinese red chillies). When hot add jalapeno peppers or green chillies. add mushrooms and salt. Let it cook a little.
  4. Add garlic, ginger, onion, carrots and white part of spring onions. Let it cook a little.
  5. Add soy sauce. Then add rice. Sear the rice. Add vinegar. Taste and adjust sauces and salt.
  6. Switch off heat so as to not reduce basil and so that it remains fresh. Add spring onion green part and basil.
