Instructions to make Mutter & chicken pulao (Peas & Chicken Rice/pilau):
Wash chicken and marinate it with lemon juice and tandoori masala and keep it aside
Add thinly sliced onions into the pot and fry it until a little dark brown. Add a dash of water and cover the pot so that a nice brown onion colour can come out
Add ginger garlic paste and cook for few minutes
Add all the spices cumin seeds, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, Fennel seeds, black cardamom, bay leaf and cook for few minutes
Add marinated chicken into it and fry until chicken changes the colour
Add salt, red chilies, yogurt and mix well
Add tomatoes, salt and red crushed chilies and cover it and cook on medium heat until tomatoes become soft
Add peas, mix well and cook until oil comes over the surface
Wash and soak rice for 20 minutes
In a pot add 2 glasses of water, cover it and when boiling start add rice into it, cover it and wait until water dries out. Keep checking in between
Add a piece of ginger and green chili in the rice and steam cook rice for 8 to 10 minutes. The piece of ginger and green chili gives amazing aroma and taste to the rice
