  1. Take the meat in a sufuria. Grate the garlic and ginger into it. Add 3cups of water and bring to boil for 20_30 minutes depending on how tender you want the meat.
  2. As the meat boils cut the onions and prepare the other ingredients. And set aside.
  3. Wash the rice well if you have some hot water add and soak for a while
  4. By now the meat is ready. Drain the brothe and put aside. Fry the onions well till golden brown add the dry ingredients and cook the spices (this is the secret to pilau. You cook the spices not add). - Fry for 2_3minutes then add the meat and continue frying. This allows the meat to absorb the spices well.
  5. Drain the soaked rice and add 5o the meat. Stir to mix it up with the meat and spices. The rice absords the flavour and colour from the well fried meat and spices. - Stir for a minute or two. - Add the brothe from the boiled meat and maybe some water enough to cool the rice. - Cover and cook under medium heat.
