  1. Prepare pork shoulder
  2. Prepare TS oil (sunflower, corn, but not olive)

  2. Use a big Dutch pot for the cooking. - Hear the oil and caramelise the onions and garlic.
  3. Add the meat and brown it on all sides. - Add the sambal.
  4. Pour in the vinegar, the ketjap, ginger and some water. - Put a lid on it and leave it simmer for half an hour
  5. Serve with rice and perhaps some Indonesian garnish like Atjar Tjampoer
