  1. Make ready 1.5 cup Ragi flour
  2. Make ready 1.5 cups Jaggery
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup Coconut oil or ghee
  4. Make ready 1/2 cup Cashews nuts and kishmish
  5. Get 1 tbsp Cardamoms powdered
  6. Take 3 cup Water
  7. Take 1 tbsp Coconut oil or (to saute the cashews)
Instructions to make RAGI HALWA šŸ„°šŸ˜‹šŸ˜‹:
  1. Saute the cashews nuts in 1 tbsp. Coconut oil or ghee. keep aside
  2. Mix ragi flour and water into a batter.
  3. Heat the mixture in thick-bottomed vessel on medium heat stirring constantly.
  4. After 3 minutes, add jaggery and Cardamom powder.
  5. Start adding the coconut oil/ ghee,2 tbsp at a time. keep mixing until all the oil/ghee is used.
  6. Lower the flame and keep stirring for another 3-4 minutes the mixture will start coming together add sauteed cashews and kishmish.
  7. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, mixing constantly soon, the oil will start to separate from it drain the excess oil and transfer the halwa to a glass bowl.
