The ingredients needed to make Ragi Phulka & Ragi Roti:
Prepare 2 cups Ragi flour
Get 2 cups water
Take 1 Tbsp oil

Instructions to make Ragi Phulka & Ragi Roti:
In a vessel, boil 2 cups of water. As the water starts to boil, switch the gas to low flame. Now add salt, oil, ragi flour in it.
Keep stirring with spoon, so that no lumps form. Mix well. Then turn off the gas. Remove ragi flour on large plate and let it cool for 2 mins.
While the dough is still warm, soak your hands in water and knead the dough. The dough will soften after kneading. - Make dough balls and flatten it.
For Phulkas:- - With rolling pin carefully roll dough ball and make round phulka. Dust some ragi flour on rolling surface and dough ball, while rolling. - The size of phulka-poli should be bigger than puri and slightly smaller than plain chapatti.
Heat the Tawa over medium flame. Carefully put Phulka on Tawa. Cook first both the sides on tawa and then directly on the flame.
Then, remove phulka on plate and apply ghee/oil over it, if necessary.
For Roti:- Spread some dry flour on a rolling surface or on a large plate and dough ball. Rotate the Roti round, while lightly patting with your palm. Sprinkle some dry flour if necessary, so that Roti does not stick.
Heat Tawa on medium flame. - Sprinkle water on the tawa each time before placing bhakari/roti on it and wipe off immediately with a cloth. Put Roti on heated tawa. When the Roti is a little hot, spread water over it by hand. When the water is dry, flip the Roti and cook the other side. Cook till brown spots appear on both sides.
I made one Ragi Roti without using dry flour. Soak your hands in water. While patting lightly with your palm, turn the Roti round. Each time, lift the Roti with both hands and roll it round while patting, so that it does not stick.
Put Roti on heated tawa. - Cook till brown spots appear on both sides.
