The ingredients needed to make Ragi Roti:
  1. Make ready 1 cup ragi flour (100gms)
  2. Get As per taste Salt
  3. Get 1/4 cup water or as required
  4. Take As required Wheat flour/ragi flour for dusting
Steps to make Ragi Roti:
  1. Take ragi flour in a bowl, add salt to it and knead a soft dough by adding little water at a time as required. Knead for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. Now dust rolling board with flour and place 1 ball and gently pat using your fingertips till it becomes thin as required or you can alternatively roll it gently using rolling pin.
  3. Place the roti on hot tawa and cook from both sides. Keep aside the tawa and place the roti on burner and cook for 10 seconds till it rises up. Take off the roti.
  4. Likewise prepare another roti. Apply ghee and serve hot.
  5. Note- take sufficient amount of flour for dusting otherwise the dough will stick and it will break as you try to pick it up.
