The ingredients needed to make Fafda !!:
Take 1 cup Besan
Prepare 1/4 tsp Papad Khar
Take 1/2 tsp Hing
Get 1/2 tsp Salt
Take 1/2 tsp Black Pepper Powder
Prepare 1/4 tsp Carrom Seeds
Take As Required Water
Prepare As required Oil for kneading
Take As required Oil for deep frying
Steps to make Fafda !!:
Sieve besan and keep aside. - In a bowl take papad khar, hing and salt. Add 2 tsp water, mix very well.
Add this mixture to besan. Mix well. Add black pepper powder and carrom seeds. Mix and gradually add water (2 to 3 tsp) and make dough.
Add oil and knead dough very well till it becomes smooth. Cover and keep aside the dough for 10 mins.
Again take oil and knead dough well. Take a small portion from the dough, knead and make cylindrical shape ball from it. Keep on kitchen platform and press little on one side and stretch with palm to make a strip from the dough. Pick with thin knife and deep fry on medium flame for 3 to 4 mins. Remove in a plate.
1. Repeat same process to make all the fafda's. Let it cool down.
Serve with fried green chillies, besan kadhi, raw papaya sambharo.
