  1. Take a pan, heat oil and fry garam masala for 30 sec
  2. Now add onions, fry it untill it changes into light brown colour
  3. Now add tomatos and cook it untill tender
  4. Now add all spices and cook untill it become smooth
  5. Now add boiled chickpeas and cook it on high flame untill oil comes out
  6. Now add water for gravy, and cook it on high flame untill boiled, then cook on low flame for 15 minutes
  7. For tarka,,,, Take another pan, heat oil, add garlic and ginger paste, cook it for 2 minutes
  8. Now pour the tarka on chana gravy and put it on dam for 5 minutes.
  9. Serve with ginger slices. Yummmm
