The ingredients needed to make Alcapurias:
  1. Make ready 1 bag frozen yucca (cassava) grounded
  2. Prepare 1 packet Goya Sazon with cilantro y achiote
  3. Prepare 1/4 teaspoon Goya Adobo with pepper
  4. Take 1/2 Tbsp oil
  5. Take Meat for filling (pork, beef, or chicken, cubed and cooked)
Steps to make Alcapurias:
  1. Defrost yucca. Place yucca (cassava) in a piece of cloth and squeeze excess liquid until yucca is dry.
  2. Add Adobo, sazon, and oil; mix well.
  3. Place small amount in the palm of hand, about a handful, press yucca into palm of hand and fill with meat. Cover meat, shaping into a torpedo.
  4. Heat oil on high. Once hot place alcapurias in oil and lower flame. Fry until golden brown.
